Selection guide

Match tackle storage to your gear, not just your bag

The longest lure, the smallest loose item and the space in your bag each impose a different constraint. Start with those three measurements before choosing a box or binder.

Start with these checks

  1. Measure lure length with hooks attached and consider usable compartment depth, not outside dimensions alone.
  2. For soft plastics, confirm sleeve material compatibility or keep baits in their original packaging.
  3. Check tray dimensions against the opening of your existing tackle bag or crate.
  4. Do not assume waterproofing, corrosion protection or floating performance from an image. Confirm any required rating for the final item.
